David Griffin FCA - Managing Partner
David became a partner in 1981 after training with Albert Goodman and since then has developed the firm's audit and corporate client group. He deals mainly with the larger corporate clients. In addition, he provides a full range of services to companies and larger businesses, including management advice, investigations, financial acquisitions, disposals and valuations.

Paul Sargent FCA - Corporate Services Partner Paul joined Albert Goodman in 1985 having qualified with a national practice, and after a spell in industry with a Plc in the electronics sector. Paul became a partner in 1988 and has a portfolio of predominately corporate clients, and specialises in providing management consultancy and support to owner managed businesses.

Richard Bugler ACA - Corporate Services Partner Richard became a partner in 1999, having joined Albert Goodman in 1995. Prior to becoming a partner, he managed the Corporate Services Department in the Yeovil office. Richard acts for a broad range of clients, specialising in providing a complete range of services to owner managed businesses. These services include audits, business planning and start-ups, valuations, helping to reduce the taxation burden and improving profitability.

Nick Hancock FCA - Business Services Partner Nick became a partner in 1998, having trained and qualified with Albert Goodman. He has responsibilities and involvement with the firm's Business Support Group which provides accounting, taxation and business advice to incorporated and non-incorporated businesses. Nick deals with all areas of business advice, including help and support to new and existing businesses of all sizes, and has a varied portfolio of clients. Nick is also a Dental accounting specialist and is a member of NASDA the associations of specialist dental accountants.

Martin Crowdy FCA - Partner Martin has been a partner in general practice since 1984, with a national practice until 1996, and since then with Albert Goodman. Based in the Yeovil office, Martin acts for a broad range of clients with particular emphasis on professions and Doctors. He is particularly interested in helping businesses plan for the future and improve profitability.

Julie Hopkins ACA - Partner Julie Hopkins qualified with KPMG in Darlington in 1991 subsequently specialising in small to medium owner managed businesses working in general practice. Julie rejoined Albert Goodman in 2002 and was made partner in May 2007. Julie specialises in working with entrepreneurs and is an all round business advisor providing accounting, taxation and business advice to incorporated and non-incorporated businesses. Her specialisms include start-ups, care homes, consultancy, funeral directors, retail and the licensed trade. Julie is based in the Yeovil office and is committed to the growth of the business in her care.

Rod Steele FCA - Partner Rod spent six years in sales and marketing with a national textile firm before joining Albert Goodman in 1976. He became a partner in 1984. In addition to his role as a general practitioner, Rod is responsible for all Litigation Support work within the firm, working with other external professionals and our specialist teams to provide a highly specialised service. He is a founding member of the Expert Witness Institute.

Iain McVicar FCCA - Agricultural Partner Iain joined Albert Goodman following six years as an accountant for the Agribusiness and Business Restructuring Divisions of a National Accountancy Firm. Prior to qualifying as an accountant he worked as an Agricultural Business Consultant mostly in the West Country providing technical and financial advice to farmers. Iain became a partner in 2002, and heads up the firm’s Agriculture and Veterinary Division. He provides a full range of services for these businesses, including accountancy, taxation and business advice, and aims to work closely with the owners to improve their business efficiency.

Dominic Crilly MA CTA - Tax Partner Dominic joined Albert Goodman in 1996 and became a partner in May 1999 having previously worked as a tax consultant for major international accountancy firms in the Midlands and the City of London. He specialises in taxation, particularly more advanced tax planning arrangements for owner managed businesses and wealthy individuals.

Andrew Brown FPC G20 G60 MAIFA CF9 - Financial Planning Partner Following 4 years as a beef farmer and agricultural contractor, Andrew joined Barclays Bank in 1980 to pursue a career in financial services. In 1990 having obtained his financial services qualifications and experience whilst working for the bank Andrew decided to set up his own business. Andrew Brown Associates was established in 1991 and has grown substantially since. In 2003 Andrew Brown Associates joined Albert Goodman and Andrew became a partner in the firm.
